There was construction immediately under our window.so on our first day we had to listen to jack hammers all day. There was only minimal parking and we were made to walk throught dirt , gravel and general construction daybrey, while the hotel staff cut throught the building which was half the distance on clean tiled walkways, But when we asked to use this route, we were told , it was staff only and customers were required to walk the long way through the dust and dirt.

Had an amazing stay at Casa Cupula with my husband in January 2026\. The whole place was beautiful, well maintained and interesting to explore. We stayed on the garden level and loved the access to lower-level pool. Staff was all great and attentive, including at the pool club (which hotel guests have free access to). Didn’t want to leave :( Will definitely return again!

Great place for a couple days, area is excellent if your wanting the Malecon, Romantic Xone all very walkable. Breakfast is not to my liking. Same food choices everyday and small. Orange juice is not nice. Staff were not able to keep up so pretty much go in and figure it out especially if you want coffee. I helped myself and just found what I needed. Cleaning ladies were fantastic. Pool is smaller but kept clean and worked for us. Beachfront is very rocky but hey Mother Nature! Worth paying for the oceanfront rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a bit loud trying to fall asleep- you could hear the bar/restaurant close by but once they closed it was great. Loved the pool area and the communal coffee/tea bar. Bed was super comfortable!
